<p>We listened, and are now offering BOTH services.   Everybody gets what they want!</p>

<p>Computers can be checked in and out at the reception desk of the StorIt office.  You will be provided a numbered copy of your Intake Form.  The staff at the StorIt place provide EXCEPTIONAL customer service.  We would have it no other way for our clients.</p>
<p>We will also be keeping a small Administrative Office in the building, available for billing or service questions during most weekday hours.</p>
<h3>VALET SERVICE</h3>
<p>For those that prefer &#8220;Valet&#8221; service, where we pick-up and drop off at your location, we are offering two levels of service:</p>
<h4>Door to door service:  $15</h4>
<p>You have the computer already unplugged and ready to pick up at your door.<br />
You are willing to accept your computer at the door when complete.<br />
No setup required.</p>
<h4>Premium Valet Service:  $40</h4>
<p>A technician will come into your home to disconnect the computer.<br />
A technician will reconnect your computer when complete.<br />
Peace of mind knowing everything is connected properly and working like it should.</p>
<h4>Valet Service Area:</h4>
<p>Valet services and prices are valid within the following zone:<br />
North to Swan Lake Junction<br />
South to Okanagan College<br />
East to Coldstream Ranch</p>

<p>Available “channels” for communication now include website “Contact Us” requests, emails, voicemails, telephone calls AND social media posts from Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.  So now, you can make a post on Rent-A-Geek’s Facebook Page and it will go directly to a tech.  Tech responses will also appear on Facebook for others to see and understand.  You can also now leave us a voicemail, and it will be converted to text and sent directly to a tech for review.  Very cool.</p>
<p>Unlike the telephone, technicians can handle multiple requests at once and provide a more thorough, well researched response.  This is far more efficient than trying to catch a tech that is busy working on the phone with another customer.</p>
<p>More and more, we want the telephone to become a means of outbound communication; where we call you directly after we have had a chance to prepare a response to your questions.</p>
<p>There is also a direct link to the Help Desk on the top of our new website.  Go ahead and try it out!</p>

<p>Our first goal was to SIMPLIFY the tree so you press only TWO keys to get to the proper person.  We have included a <a href="/downloads/customer-phone-tree.pdf" target="_blank">PDF copy of the tree</a>, so you can print it out for reference.  It really is simple.</p>
<p>Once you press two keys, you will enter a queue which will only ring the techs or admin staff that can help with your particular situation.  So now your call will not go to an online tech if your question is about billing or to an in-shop tech if you are checking up on your online work.  This reduces the shuffling around of callers, and allows the techs to focus on their work with fewer interruptions.</p>
<p>If you do not want to wait in a queue, you can press “0” at any time to leave a voicemail, which will go DIRECTLY to the proper tech for your situation.</p>
<p>We understand that you WANT to speak to a person, and you WILL as long as you are willing to press two buttons to wait for a tech or prefer to leave a message.  Your voicemails are translated into text emails and a “New Ticket” is created in our customer support system.  A tech or admin person will grab the next ticket and call you back as soon as they are off the phone; guaranteed.</p>
